A Journey of Wine and Ice Begins

Our big Summer 2017 trip has been in the works for well over a year. We start by flying to Paris
on Friday, July 7th and then taking a train to La Rochelle on Saturday. After 4 nights in La Rochelle we head to Bordeaux for a wine cruise on AMA Waterways.  The cruise will be followed by a tour through the Loire region.  We'll be cruising and touring with Eric Glomsky of Page Springs Cellars, Sam Pillsbury of the Pillsbury Wine Company

and a whole bunch of wine loving friends.  After another night in Paris we fly to Reykjavik, Iceland where we spend 3 days before embarking on the Oceania Insignia for a 15 day cruise to New York (hey, we had to get back to the USA somehow!). The highlight of the cruise is expected to be 3 ports in Greenland.  We spend a night in New York on board Insignia taking in a Broadway show (Groundhog Day) before flying back to Los Angeles.

I hope to post entries to this blog as often as possible but enjoying wine and ice will have a higher priority!

Peace and blessing,
Larry and Linda
