On Our Way to La Rochelle

Our flight to Paris was smooth and on time.  The nice part about flying from the west coast is that it's an 11 hour flight which gives you plenty of time for Mimosa's,
a nice dinner with a few glasses of wine and then plenty of time for sleep.  Our hotel for the night was at the airport.  After grabbing a shower we took the train into Paris for dinner.  We went to a great bistro for dinner, the same one that we had gone to last month with our granddaughter Phoebe.
It was good again but just not the same without her!  We got back on the train to the airport about 10pm expecting it to not be crowded.  Were we wrong.  It was packed solid.  I don't think I've been on a train that crowded since my days in New York!  We were able to sleep in late this morning before catching the train to La Rochelle.  Off to our next "port-of-call".
Peace and Blessings,
Linda and Larry
